The Government gives the go-ahead for the new Health Act commencing Canaria parliamentary stage.
The Governing Council has ratified in its session on Thursday the draft of the new Law on Health of the Canary Islands to begin from now the mandatory for approval by the Parliament of the Canary Islands.
The draft Canary Health Act was drafted by the Ministry of Health to replace the current legal framework represented by Law 11/1994, gaia gold, of July 26, Canarian Health Management, with the objectives of strengthening the position of citizens Canary Islands to the health system and establish an organizational model to improve efficiency in the management of resources and public health benefits.

With the approval and entry into force of the new Health Act, the Ministry will comply with one of the main priorities of his political program for this Legislature, in order to improve citizen access to public health system and provide the public health structure for greater flexibility, in line with the models adopted by other regions.
